Playin' the Blues

Good day everyone!

I was out this weekend and enjoying an art gallery opening. I am the manager of the Gallery and the artist had asked if he could invite a Blues singer to jam with him during the show. Of course I agreed this was a good idea! (I love the Blues) he he

As I was enjoying the music and art I became intrigued with this wonderful man who was playin' the Blues, so when he took a break I went to talk to him. Turns out that he has a pacemaker too! So we exchanged stories and then we actually checked out each other scars! he he... It was so cool to meet another pacer in person. I was wearing a sleeveless party dress so it was easy to see my scar. He was amazing! Playin' the blues, singing along. It has been a great weekend. His name is "Berry Harris" Great Blues player!!! 79 years old.

Just goes to show me, that PM/ICD people are everywhere!

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
