Pocket infection

I noticed about two weeks ago that one side of my incision (pm 7/19/22) had a tiny hard bump on it. I was at a hematology appt and asked the doctor to look at it and he said it looked normal. My vision is poor so I just went on as if all was ok. Pocket revision

Has anyone had a pocket revision done where they moved the pacefmaker under the muscle.  If so, why was the revision done, i.e. pain with the initial placement of the pacemaker or something else and how was the recovery after the revision.

New arrythmia

I've been told I'm getting Atrial Bigeminy now and the technicians say they can't do anything about it and to talk to my cardiologist. I have an appointment on the 13th September. Does anyone know anything about atrial Bigeminy please.

New Pacemaker Complications

Hi Everyone, My name is John a 54 year old male and I am new to group. I received my pacemaker implant 3 weeks ago.

I am having 2 issues already;

1- Infection with discharge from implant site started heavy as mix of blood and fluids. Now it is slowed but showing green infection looking discharge which I am on antibiotics for since 5 days ago.

2- Pain under my left pectoral muscle which is no where near implant as that is on same side but just under collarbone.

Band-Aids

I think I'm having a reaction to large clear plastic band-aid they used to cover incision site.  Looks like blisters forming.  Anyone else have this happen?  I'm suppose to leave it on for 5 more days, I don't think I will stand the itching.  Calling doctor tomorrow.

Pacemaker

Hello Dear Friends,

Okay so something is freaking wrong... Do they listen of course not!!! Same crap before I got pacemaker I said hey my heart is stopping...she says oh I'm sure it's not stopping... Hi, I had an attempt at placement of a leadless pacemaker, Micra, and the doctor made 4 attempts b/o high impedance.  After the 4th, they noticed that I had pericardial tamponade, and I became comatose and was in ICU intubated for 4 days, delirious for another 3, and recovering my faculties.  I am now trying to understand my chart and what happened to me.

Hello all...

Had my dual chamber PM implanted Feb. 1, 2022 for AFib and bradycardia.  Been on Sotalol (80mg bid) and Eliquis (5mg bid).  
Last Thursday after showering I noticed my left arm red and a tad swollen as my watch band was too tight.  Got better during day.  Friday noticed it again.  Called my cardiologist's office and she immediately ordered an ultrasound duplex which I had done that afternoon.  I see her to go over the results...

Recent PM readings that I don't understand..

First of all, I apologize for not posting in quite a while. Everything has been well and time flies! Typically, I forget that I have the PM on board as it does it's job that well! My most recent reading has a few things I don't understand and maybe someone here can help me interpret them. I haven't heard anything from the DR., so maybe that's a good thing?

Hello friends, pacemaker since 07 ..due to slow heart  rate I was fine no medicine 2007 till 2010 what happened? Now my heart it's fast how did that happen? Pacemaker

I have a question for those who have pacemakers, mine was put in April 7th 2022 and my chest has been hurting every since. Doctor said it can't be the pacemaker or leads. Although they haven't done any x-rays or any other tests to check the leads. But, it wasn't like this before and sometimes the pain seems to be getting worse. Electrician feelings

My pacemaker is working well but when I'm lieing flat I get an electric impulse across my chest even when the pacemaker is off. It happens every night and lasts. Sometimes when I raise up in the bed it stops. 
it's been going on for a few months with the pacemaker keeping me from bradycardia and I'm staying in sinus rhythm all the time.

Drop in EF after pacemaker replacement?

After 8 years of a functioning Boston Scientific N161 CRT-D, which had significantly improved my heart function, it was necessary to replace it.

New device: G151 CRT-D.  

Just prior to replacement, my EF was 65. Shortly after replacement my EF was 48, with symptoms of fatigue and shortness of breath.

My electrophysiologist even agreed that seemed more than coincidence; however, he could not find anything wrong with the new device or its leads.

Left Ventricle systolic function

So I need to have my gallbladder removed. I had to get a nuclear stress test to be cleared for surgery. I failed. The report says my LV systolic function is at 37% . Hi,

I had a few tests done after complaining of exercise causing high heart rates from minimal exertion. My 48 hour cardiac monitor showed good rhythm during exercise and whilst sleeping, between 70 and 160 over two days and an 80 average, he said he may consider lower the heart rate to 60 and maybe even 50 to increase the range.
