Interesting web site

www.vescell.com/adult-stem-cell
Unbelievable I have been converseing with a gentleman from Michigan that just had it done, and results are astonishing. Wish I had the money to do it. He is telling some ways. Food for thought, it starting to seem to me that this country doesnt give a rats you know what about us. Or the sooth sayers that stop some things.

Still having symptoms after pacemaker implanted

Hi there. I'm new to this board. I'm 29 years-old with two wonderful children. During my second pregnancy I was experiencing severe lighheadedness and dizziness and was told by my wonderful OB that it would go away after I had the baby and that it was just my hormones. I have the baby and I still have the symptoms so I go to a cardiologist and he does some tests and had me where a holter monitor for 30 days. On day 26 my heart paused for 7.5 seconds and my heart rate had been in the low 20'...

Pacemaker Checks

I have found myself listed on the M.T.P.C. list. That's right the Missing The Pacemaker Check, list. I keep forgetting to call them on the day assigned. I get busy, I feel fine and then I simply forget! I get these frantic calls from the Cardiologist that I missed the Pacemaker phone check. This time they asked me "Who takes care of me"? What? I asked? I'm at work, I replied. I take care of me. They must have been thinking I was getting senile and forgetful because I am old. My goodness,...

Heart Industry Abbreviations

I have been off the site for a while, Federal jury duty, but that is another story.
I see the the club now has an abbreviations tab under information, very nice. Although it doesn't include Electric Frank's 'GB'.
I will retire my abbreviation list postings.

Later,
Charlie

Heart Block Definition & BBB

Another article I can actually understand!!!

The term 'heart block' refers to a delay or stoppage at some point of the electrical pathway of the heart, and is a medical diagnosis made on the basis of an electrocardiogram (ECG). Depending on the variety, heart blocks may produce slow heart rates leading to dizziness or blackouts, or may produce no symptoms at all.

The Heart's Conduction System

The heart consists of two separate pumping systems, one on the right...

I miss the treadmill :(

I'm feeling pretty useless just sitting around doing nothing while my lung gets straightened out. I've got a freakin' 5 k to train for. I don't wanna be sucking into this breathing machine. I want to exercise on the treadmill. This is so frustrating. UGH. I can't believe this. I know ya'll are like, "quit your whining", but I'm about to go crazy.

Anyone else diagnosed with Lenegre's Syndrome?

I don't know if it is 'just in my head' - - - - - - is it possible to feel more fatigued the more the pacemaker has to be used?
Does it matter - maybe - what the underlying condition is that requires the pacemaker in the first place??
Has anyone else been diagnosed with Lenegre's Syndrome?

Fainting

Hello!
Quick re-cap: I had my 3rd ablation about 6 weeks ago. First 2 were sinus node modifications for IST, 3rd was for sinus node re-entry atrial tachycardia.
I was doing better until I fainted night before last. I saw my doctor yesterday, he adjusted my pacemaker and told me to come back in 3 months. 3 months...are you kidding me!!! I can't go on like this for 3 months! Still having issues because of IST.
On the way home I fainted while sitting in the car. I have NEVER fainte...

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
